Accuracy Built From Field Experience
Manual J USA provides detailed, inspection-ready load calculations from Boise, Idaho — careful work from a design professional who's spent his career in the trade.
Where This Started
After years as a lead installer, I saw firsthand how inaccurate load calculations were creating problems for contractors — wrong equipment sizes, inspection delays, and costly callbacks. I knew there had to be a better way to approach this work.
I committed to learning the methodology thoroughly and building a careful, detail-oriented process. My goal with every report is to give contractors the accurate information they need to do their jobs well.
This industry is in my blood — I come from a family of tradespeople and have spent my career focused on getting load calculations right for contractors across the western US.

Founder & Lead Design Specialist — Boise, ID
My focus on the western US is intentional. I've spent my career working in these states and I'm familiar with the regional climate zones, local code requirements, and what inspectors typically expect to see.
When I'm away from the desk, you'll find me in the same mountains and valleys I design comfort systems for — skiing, hunting, and staying connected to the landscape that shapes this work.

I was an installer before I was a load calc specialist. I know what happens when the numbers are wrong — and I won't let that happen to your job.
I Know Your Market
Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah — these are the states I've worked. I understand the climate zones and local code requirements.
5-Day Standard. 48-Hour Rush.
